Ooutlook 2016 For Mac Autodiscovery Error

Hello, I am trying to connect Outlook 2016 to my Exchange Server 2016 using SRV DNS Records. Print hold for authentication When I add a new account everything works great and says that Outlook needs to be restarted.

When outlook restarts I get a prompt about an SSL Error. The address on the error though is an internal address. Outlook is trying to get the SSL from that internal address but that internal address does not exist.

The issue affects Outlook 2016 and previous versions as well as Outlook for Mac. We originally encountered this problem during the configuration of Office 365 Germany, but since the root cause of the problem is unknown, this workaround might also resolve issues with 'regular' Office 365. Uninstall Outlook 2016 and then reinstall Outlook 2013 on your PC, if you upgraded to Office 2016 from an Office 365 subscription. Uninstall Office 2016 and reinstall Office 2013 Home and Business, Office 2013 Professional, or Outlook 2016 for Windows standalone if you previously had one of these earlier versions of Office on your PC.

I have looked over everything I can think about and researched everything online with no solution. For some reasons I feel like I might be making a simple error. How to get hd wallpapers for mac.

Any guidance is appreciated. Hi, I understand you have received the cert error in outlook side. Hi, I understand you have received the cert error in outlook side. Thank you David for your response. I forgot to also mention that after I got the SSL error outlook would give another error that it could not connect. I assumed this was all part of the same problem. I was able to fix the 2nd part of the error where outlook would not connect by changeing the mapi internal url to the one that was listed in the SSL Set-MapiVirtualDirectory -identity 'EXCHANGE-1 mapi (Default Web Site)' -internalurl Outlook connected successfully and pulled up all the emails.

However the problem persisted where it would say SSL error. The domain it was listing as the error was the internal domain 'exchange-1.labs.com'. I do not own labs.com and only use that internally. I ran your commands and saw the same thing where the internal url is not whats on the SSL. I changed that url to the one thats on the SSL in hopes of fixing but the error still pops up after an account is added to outlook. Set-ClientAccessServer -identity 'EXCHANGE-1' -AutoDiscoverServiceInternalUri Everything seems to be working even though that error appears.

I would still like to resolve that error though. Based on you query, it seems you use DNS SRV record method for autodiscover lookup, which doesn't look into certificate entries. However if it is internal client, autodiscover will look for ' AutodiscoverServiceInternalUri', which you can match to one of your certificate entries, including OAB, EWS and MAPI/OA URLs with an internal DNS entry for same. If it is not internal client - ensure you have a valid external URLs as well for above Outlook related VDs. Post confirming or changing same, do 'iisreset' or recycle Autodiscover app pools on all you CAS servers and try with a new OL profile.
